Before I hit send,I question if it’s good enough.
Perfection delays the work.
When I seek feedback,I share what is not finished.
It may feel exposed,but this is how progress happens.
Reflection
The wish to make the work better can feel responsible. One more pass. One more sentence. One more adjustment before anyone else sees it.
But perfection can become a way to stay alone with the work. The draft stays protected, and the learning that would improve it waits outside the door.
Asking for feedback before something is finished can feel exposing because it admits the work is still becoming. That is also what makes feedback useful.
This moment is not about lowering standards. It is about letting the work meet the response it needs. Progress happens when the unfinished thing is shared clearly enough for someone else to help.
